ZOO Print guidelines

Like all major venues, we have a few stipulations for how our venues should be referred to in your publicity. But we keep these rules as simple and flexible as possible – we don’t want our logos to spoil designs, just for audiences to be able to very clearly see where the show is happening within a consistent and recognisable format that helps identify your show within a programme.

Please contact press@zoovenues.co.uk to be supplied with your show specific ZOO overprint for your A3 posters and A6 flyers. If you are exploring non-standard sizing for your print, let us know so we can provide respective sized overprint.

The overprint will include the following essential information:

Show Time
ZOO Box Office Number – 0131 356 0349
ZOO Venues festival website address – zoofestival.co.uk
ZOO logo for your performance venue.

Please contact us in advance if you intend to have anything delivered to the venues in Edinburgh prior to August as slightly different addresses may apply.

SUSTAINABILITY

We need to use less paper, we need to print less. Flyers and posters are still a great way of telling people about your show but we would encourage you to only print what you feel you can distribute, and to think of other way of promoting your show person to person without handing over a piece of paper that ultimately ends up in a bin, for instance encouraging the people you meet to take a photo of your flyer.

APPROVAL

All poster and flyer design must be emailed to press@zoovenues.co.uk for approval before printing. We’ll get back to you quickly – if you haven’t heard from us within 48hrs then please phone. We only insist on changes when absolutely necessary.
